TM198 can easily be removed for inspection and the area simply refilled

One of the many advantages to TM198 is the ability to cut a small section of material away to inspect the substrate underneath.

Whilst TM198 allows for NDT testing, removal is useful should a visual inspection be preferred. A small area can be cut away to expose the substrate and inspection or maintenance performed.

In this situation our small Polymelt SG1 is a practical solution for refilling small areas of cut material as can be seen here.

When refilling the area, the new material bonds to the existing material to re-encapsulate the substrate. The area is then secure and the material can continue to protect and provide complete protection against corrosion and contamination.

Our range of Polymelt Applicators can also be used to refill areas, especially if the section cut away is large. The new material will bond to the existing forming a protective barrier.
